How we handle your account, billing, and Studio data
TrendShort only processes the data needed to provide signup, billing, credits, Studio access, and customer support.
What we collect
We collect the account information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, subscription status, payment identifiers, and the project metadata created while using TrendShort and Studio.
When you trigger generation, export, or billing events, we also record the minimum event data required for credit accounting, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
How we use that data
We use this data only to provide account access, subscription management, credit authorization and refunds, Studio single sign-on, project return flows, and customer support.
We do not sell your account data to third parties, and we do not use Studio project data for unrelated public marketing purposes.
Third-party services
TrendShort relies on third-party providers for authentication, billing, databases, and generation tasks, including Clerk, Stripe, Neon, and connected AI providers. These services receive data only when required to provide core product functionality.
If one of those providers fails, TrendShort aims to present a clear user-facing error state and next step instead of leaving you in an ambiguous failure state.
