How trial credits, subscriptions, and billing work
TrendShort launches with a simple model: new users get trial credits first, then subscribe when they are ready to scale output.
Free trial
New users automatically receive a limited amount of trial credits after first signup so they can complete the first core workflow.
Once trial credits are exhausted, users can still log into the account area, but generation and deeper Studio actions redirect back to pricing or account.
Paid subscriptions
TrendShort uses Stripe Checkout for paid subscriptions. After successful payment, subscription state and available usage are written back to the account area.
Subscription renewal resets monthly or yearly plan credits to the plan allowance. One-time trial packs add credits without auto-renewal.
Renewal cancellation, payment method updates, and subscription management are handled through the Stripe Customer Portal.
Credit authorization and refunds
Studio generation uses credit authorizations before final charge. A pending authorization may temporarily reduce your available balance while a task is running.
TrendShort uses a single authorize / finalize / refund flow for usage billing. Charges are only finalized after the action is confirmed successfully.
If a Studio task fails, TrendShort attempts to refund the related credit charge automatically. Contact support with your account email, project, episode, and failure time if the balance does not recover.
Refunds and support
If you believe you were billed incorrectly, charged twice, or blocked from access after payment, contact support with the time, email, and order details involved.
We prioritize obvious billing anomalies, payment interruptions, and account access failures.
